Somerset Undergraduate Award
The Somerset Undergraduate Award is for students aged below 25 years at university following a full time degree or an equivalent Higher Education course of a least two years’ duration.
This Award is only available to students who are resident in the London Borough of Haringey and who have attended one of the eleven secondary schools in the Borough.
From the 2009-10 Academic Year onwards, the Somerset Under-graduate Award is paid annually. Previously, it was paid as a larger one-off amount and only one payment was due for the duration of the course. Now, following confirmation from the university of successful progress, an amount will be paid in the 2nd and 3rd years of a course (retrospective payments cannot be made to students applying after their 1st year). Application forms are available from 1st May each year for the academic year commencing the following September.
The closing date for applications for each academic year is 30th November.
